Accruals: Schedule Tab

Accrue Hours on this Schedule - Select when the benefit time accrual will be calculated and applied to the employee. The options to select from are: 

• Weekly - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual every 7 days on the selected day of week. For example: Every Sunday the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
• Bi-Weekly - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual every 14 days on the selected day of week. For example: Every other Sunday the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
• Semi-Monthly - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual on two selected dates. For example: On the 1st and the 15th the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
• Monthly - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual on the first day of the month, last day of the month, or on a selected date. For example: On the 1st the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
• Semi-Annually - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual twice a year on two selected dates. For example: On July 1st and October 1st the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
• Quarterly - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual four times a year on four selected dates. For example: On January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
• Annually - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual on the employee's hire date anniversary, January 1st, or on a selected date. For example: On January 1st the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
• Pay Period - This option will calculate the benefit time accrual once a pay period, at the beginning or end of pay period. For example: The employee is assigned to a bi-weekly pay period starting on Saturday and the end of pay period option was selected for the benefit time accrual schedule. Every other Sunday the accrual will calculate and apply benefit time to the employee.
